Why Does my screen “Flicker” when I log into Purview?

We have found that the Purview App has compatibility issue with IE 11. If clients upgraded IE to IE11, they may experience an issue where the page seems to “flick”. Below are some steps to fix this:

  • This does not occur in Firefox, so if you have Firefox you can use it.
  • If you don’t have Firefox installed, try to set the IE compatibility view by following below instruction.
    • Open the IE browser, click Tools > compatibility view settings
    • Add the purview website URL and click the add button
    • Check the Compatibility view by open browser , client Tools > Compatibility View
    • Reopen the IE browser and login to purview, this should resolve the IE11 issue
